You don’t even need a website (but this would be the best way of doing it). You could send links to your friends and family. You can add links in most forums in your signature line. Don’t spam as people will not tolerate this.

The best way to start is to come up with a niche (or theme) that you’re passionate about. So for example, if you’re into dogs, why not setup a blog about canines or be even more specific just on Golden Retreivers. Put affiliate offers related to dogs products or Golden Retreivers (basically ads) on the sides for your readers to buy from you.

Do enough of these type of mini niche sites, and you’ll have checks coming in – in no time.

Remember don’t spam. Always provide useful and valuable content to your user. And they will thank you by making purchases through your site. And it becomes a win-win situation.

This can easily be done from the luxury of your home. Beware of get rich schemes. Most programs that require to put money up front are usually scams. All that I mentioned about are basically free. They (the affiliate networks) pay you and not the other way around with no startup cost. Only funds needed is to get a reputable hosting company to host your website/blog. And I mentioned a good one which only cost $10/month. Yes, there are even cheaper hosting companies and some are even free. But trust me with the amount of research that I’ve done. And all the headaches that I went through with other companies. The company I mentioned above is not perfect. But for $10/month, what do you have to lose.

It’s not easy to make money from home. But it can be done. With your time and low start up cost, you have the potential to make a decent living. I know because I already do. Best of luck.

PS – Don’t waste your money or time buying ebooks or "systems". They only get the creator of those items rich. All the information you need is free on the internet. Yahoo search is your friend. There are a ton of blogs and forums to learn from.
